October 2024 brought a new Webflow partnership to help balance personalization and privacy, faster publishing times, more risk insights in Live Data Map, new assessment templates, and more.
Welcome to DataGrail’s monthly release notes! In October, our team conjured up some treats to help you better manage your data privacy programs—because nothing is spookier than an out-of-date, manual privacy posture.
This month, we rolled out a new partnership with Webflow and integrations with Request Manager, and new features like risk insight cards in Live Data Map and brand new assessment templates in Risk Monitor.
Let’s get into it. 👻

Introducing DataGrail Consent for Webflow
In October, our team announced an exciting new partnership with Webflow, the leading visual-first website experience platform, to bring enterprise-grade consent management to Webflow customers.
The DataGrail Consent app for Webflow ensures that marketers can focus on what they do best—delivering exceptional digital experiences—while maintaining the necessary safeguards for privacy and compliance.
With DataGrail Consent for Webflow, you can:
- Ensure automated compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and more.
- Integrate seamlessly with Webflow’s native analytics and optimization solutions –Analyze and Optimize.
- Create fully customized, white-labeled consent banners.
- Manage consent for multiple Webflow domains within a single platform.
- Make fast, no-code updates to consent banner design and configuration without a developer.
Even faster publishing times for DataGrail Consent
The DataGrail team knows how important productivity and speed are for privacy teams and we’re constantly working to improve this throughout our platform.
In October, the team significantly reduced banner update publish times for DataGrail Consent by as much as 75%—from approximately 1-2 minutes down to 10-30 seconds. Faster updates allow you to be even more responsive to user needs and changing privacy regulations.
Discover risk insights quicker in Live Data Map
We’ve added two new task cards in Live Data Map to highlight systems likely to process sensitive personal information and to help you govern AI systems or systems known to have AI subprocessors—so you can quickly identify and focus on the highest-risk data sources.
New GDPR-focused assessment templates in Risk Monitor
The team added two new assessment templates to Risk Monitor—”Transfer Impact Assessments” and “Legitimate Interest Assessments”.
These templates are designed to help you more easily manage key GDPR requirements around data transfers and jumpstart the assessment process with pre-built, GDPR-aligned templates.
System Inventory UI improvements
In October, we made some enhancements to the System Inventory UI to improve the overall user experience, including moving the Data Protection Officer (DPO) management functionality from System Inventory to Settings.
This allows for a cleaner, more focused System Inventory page and enables you to pre-populate your DPO’s contact information across multiple areas of the platform, not just Live Data Map.
