Her product-driven mindset and measurable roadmap helped embed privacy into every corner of the organization—from internal policies to product design.
The Innovators: Eric Lovell & Sean Kellogg, Dexcom
At Dexcom, Eric Lovell and Sean Kellogg took on the complexities of health data privacy with ingenuity. Together, they built an impactful relationship with Dexcom’s engineering teams and successfully delivered a unique technical solution to streamline data discovery and subject request processing, saving hundreds of hours of manual work every month—all while enhancing compliance and trust.
The Champion: Kirsten Daru, NETGEAR
Kristen Daru’s influence goes far beyond her role as General Counsel and CPO at NETGEAR. A longtime advocate for ethical data practices, she’s shared her expertise with Congress, mentored privacy professionals, and inspired industry-wide change by championing what she calls “the commercial value of doing the right thing.”

Once nominations open, simply submit your nominee’s name and their impact on privacy innovation. - Nominee Confirmation
We’ll invite nominees to accept their nomination and provide additional insights to strengthen their candidacy. - Expert Review
All submissions are carefully considered by our review panel using a standardized rubric. Both the nominee’s and the nominator’s (if applicable) application text will be reviewed.
